Hello There! Thanks for visiting my website, my
name is Melissa Vandermark. Let me tell you a
little bit about me:
I started out taking portraits at our local Portrait
Studio and couldn't be happier. One day I had a
family member approach me about taking their
wedding pictures. I said yes, and not only enjoyed
the day, but enjoyed the outcome as well. Little by
little through word of mouth, I did a couple more
weddings here and there, and loved it more and
more every time I did it. After my son was born I
left working in a studio. It seemed like now that I
had weekends free more and more people were
being referred to me to take pictures for their
wedding's. I took advantage of it wherever I could,
and finally one day decided to go ahead and
"start" my own business and fell in love.
Being asked to be part of someone's special day and knowing that my
artwork may be hanging on someone's wall or displayed in an album for
all to see, is the biggest reward I could ever have. To me being a
photographer is more than just taking pictures. It is making sure every
moment is right. Whether it is helping buckle a shoe, straightening a
necklace, or fluffing a gown as she walks down the aisle, it is my job to
make sure every moment captured is: Perfectly Posed.
